The Wilds, one of the largest and most innovative Conservation Centers in the world, is seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates to lead the growth and development of its Institutional Advancement efforts. Areas of focus for this new work-group include: Government Relations, Corporate Relations, Fundraising, and Communications/Marketing. Successful candidates will have professional experience in one or more of these (or closely related) areas and will be driven by a personal passion for nature and the environment. Past supervisory experience, as well as proven writing skills will also be strongly considered. This position, along with the peer positions of Chief Operations Officer and Chief Programmatic Officer, will report directly to the Executive Director.

Julie: I’m very interested in the Chief Advancement Officer position with The Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio. However, I live permanently in NE Ohio, near Cleveland. Do some of these positions allow for telecommuting? Also, I read from another posting that ELPC is slated to open a Cleveland, Ohio, office. Can you confirm whether that is true? And, if so, when it will open, as well as submitting resumes/applications in advance? Thank you.
