Post-Tribune Targets Indiana Decision-Making Process on BP Air Permit

Today’s Gary Post-Tribune editorial criticizes the Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s handling of BP’s Clean Air Act permit request for its proposed oil refinery expansion in Whiting, Indiana. ELPC is representing several Indiana environmental groups in an administrative challenge to the BP air permit request because BP fails to address the impact of global warming pollution and does fully take into account all of the other likely pollution and reduce it.
