Wind Power Manufacturing Plant to Create 400 Jobs in Wisconsin Rapids

Energy Composites Corp. announced plans to build a new plant in Wisconsin Rapids that will employ 400 people to maufacture wind turbine blades. The announcement comes at a time when hundreds of area residents are struggling with job loss after local plants have shut down.
Energy Composites Corp. has partnered with MidState Technical College to establish a training program in blade fabrication that will prepare the local workforce for jobs at the new plant.
