Clean Energy Bill Would Create 5,000 New Jobs in South Dakota

ELPC joined Repower South Dakota, wind power manufacturer Knight and Carver, and others at news conference to explain the how climate legislation could create 5000 new jobs in South Dakota while reducing our dependence of foreign oil and helping to solve the climate crisis.
The speakers noted that clean energy training programs in the state are filling up quickly and employers like Knight and Carver could double or triple their workforce if the US passed strong energy and climate legislation.
