Nature Photography Exhibit Packs ELPC’s Office
Monday, March 15, 2010
ELPC’s Chicago office was bustling with more than 130 guests on February 25th for the opening of our latest photography exhibit: “An Enduring Vision: Illinois Nature Preserves and Land & Water Reserves.”
The exhibit celebrates the addition of the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission’s 500th protected natural area and showcases photographs of some of Illinois’ most beautiful natural places. The 22 images on display demonstrate Illinois’ geographic range, biological diversity and beautiful places. They capture the landscape of Illinois’ past and present, the enormous achievements to protect the state’s high-quality natural areas, and an enduring legacy for the future.
