Calling on Congress to Fund the Rural Energy for America Program
The ELPC Farm Team led a national letter to House and Senate appropriators seeking full funding for the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), including full discretionary funding.
REAP has provided grants and loan guarantees to agricultural producers for nearly 18,000 projects in every state (2003-2019). In all that time, ELPC has fought to keep REAP alive and funded.
REAP supports energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that help cut costs and boost profits for farmers, while improving the environment with clean energy. At this point in history America needs more REAP!
