Cameron S. Avery

Cameron S. Avery retired from the K&L Gates law firm, and its predecessor Bell, Boyd & Lloyd, where he was co-chairman. He served as principal legal counsel to hundreds of mutual funds and investment companies and a major long distance telephone company, and was General Counsel of PathoGenesis Corporation (pharmaceuticals). He is also a director of Habitat for Humanity Chicago, Chicago Sunday Evening Club (producer of television documentaries on WTTW/Channel 11) and Friends of the Green Bay Trail, a co-founder of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, former Chairman of Harris Bank Winnetka and a life trustee of Ravinia Festival, Chicago Music and Dance (Harris) Theater and North Shore Country Day School.
