“The Environmental Law & Policy Center commends the Senate Committee on Energy and Public Works for voting today to advance the nominations of Janet McCabe to serve as Deputy Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, and Brenda Mallory to serve as Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Both Ms. McCabe and Ms. Mallory bring impressive intelligence, talent, and environmental law and policy experience for protecting healthier clean air and safe clean water for all.

Ms. McCabe brings Midwest values of fairness, wisdom and hard work to her EPA leadership role in helping accelerate sensible climate change solutions and a safe clean environment for all.
