ELPC secured a major victory for the Great Lakes. Last week, the Michigan Supreme Court decided that Enbridge’s proposed Line 5 oil pipeline tunnel beneath the Straits of Mackinac had not yet met the rigorous environmental review required by law.

This win demonstrates what’s possible when we stand up to protect the Great Lakes, but the fight is far from over.
