Staff Attorney
Janean Weber is a Staff Attorney at ELPC, focusing on clean water and clean energy issues in Ohio and the broader Midwest. Prior to joining ELPC, she served at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office as a Principal Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Enforcement Section litigating surface and drinking water cases as well as RCRA and CERCLA cases in state and federal courts.
There are so many places in the Midwest that inspire me. In Ohio, I can think of two that stand out: the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which is close to where I grew up, and the Hocking Hills area, which I spend time at frequently now that I’m in central Ohio. Both are worth a visit if you are in Ohio.
So many things, but ultimately, social responsibility. I believe we’re here on this Earth to make it better in any way we can. Practicing environmental law at ELPC is one way I can use my skills, experience, and education to advocate for clean water and energy for all.
