Mike is a Senior Attorney at ELPC, working primarily on air and water issues in Indiana. Mike spent the last 16 years enforcing the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act in the Midwest as a Senior Counsel in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division. Prior to that, he was an associate at two litigation-focused DC-based law firms and served as a Staff Attorney with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Although based in ELPC’s DC office, Mike grew up in Indiana and regularly returns to visit family and friends in Indianapolis and New Albany.
From the Great Lakes to the nation’s great rivers, the Midwest is home to awesome beauty, but I am most inspired among the rolling hills of southern Indiana. The quiet country roads are great for biking and nearly every town square has an ice cream shop.
To provide the people directly exposed to pollution more of a say in decisions effecting their environment.
