Nikhil Vijaykar is a staff attorney at ELPC. His practice focuses on utility litigation and policy advocacy across the Midwest, with a subject-matter focus on electric utility distribution system planning and grid modernization. He previously worked at Whitt Sturtevant, a boutique Chicago law firm where his practice focused on energy and utilities regulatory law. This included counseling as well as administrative and appellate litigation on behalf of natural gas, electric, and water utility clients. Before Whitt Sturtevant, he worked as a senior policy associate at the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) and as an associate attorney in the energy and environmental practice group at the San Francisco office of the law firm Paul Hastings, LLP.
I left my heart in the Apostle Islands in Northern Wisconsin. Go in the summer and don’t leave without kayaking through the sea caves!
