Nick Wallace

Nick Wallace is a Senior Associate Attorney at ELPC. His work focuses on building a cleaner energy system and protecting water and wilderness in the Midwest. Before joining ELPC, Nick was an attorney advisor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, DC. As a law student, he spent summers working with NRDC in San Francisco and Kanji & Katzen, PLLC, in Ann Arbor.

WHAT’S A PLACE YOU LOVE IN THE MIDWEST?

The Eastern U.P. Cedar swamps, rocky shorelines, and lake effect snow are my idea of a good time.

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO DO THIS WORK?

I love the Midwest and the Great Lakes. I am optimistic that we can solve big environmental challenges. I am aware of the injustice of our continued reliance on fossil fuels. I admire the people, past and present, who have fought to make the world a healthier, happier place.
