Addie Epstein Lawyer

Addie is ELPC’s Planned Giving Officer. Addie has a varied background in business and nonprofit work. Most recently, Addie worked in the private equity sector raising and deploying capital in both Chicago and Charlotte, NC. Before getting her MBA, Addie worked in various roles at a start-up company she helped scale rapidly and take public during her tenure. Addie started her career in fundraising at a Chicago nonprofit, writing grants, engaging major donors, grassroot campaigning, and managing board relations. She always knew she would return to the nonprofit fundraising world and is proud to be fighting for environmental justice and equity.

What’s a place you love in the Midwest?

The Promontory Point. Growing up in Hyde Park, the Point was where I first fell in love with public spaces. It is such a perfect example! I love how it brings people together from all over the city to enjoy our beautiful lake and lakefront.

What drives you to do this work?

Everyone in our community has a right to a clean environment and access to nature. I’m lucky to be fighting for that.
