Declan Flanagan is the Founder & CEO of Bluestar Energy Capital, a renewable energy investment company that owns a global portfolio of clean energy development businesses. Declan is a former EVP at Orsted as well as former CEO of Orsted’s onshore renewables business. He was the Founder & CEO of Lincoln Clean Energy (sold to Orsted in 2018) and Airtricity North America (sold to E.On in 2007). Declan has led over $10 billion in capital investment in global clean energy and has served on the Board of the American Clean Power Association and as Chair of American Council on Renewable Energy. He has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and earned his BSc at the University of Galway.
