These cuts could put lives at risk. This lean operation works 24/7, 365 days a year serving all of us with weather system satellites, doppler radars, all of the forecasting tools, data, and science to predict tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, cold and heat waves.

Without that data, forecasts will be less accurate and severe weather notifications can be delayed – that puts lives at risk.
