By contributing cash, securities, or other assets to a DAF, you can take an immediate tax deduction, grow your gift tax-free, and recommend grants to ELPC anytime. DAFs are the fastest-growing giving vehicle in the U.S. because they make donating easy, flexible, and effective. Tax deductions are generally subject to IRS AGI limits.
It’s easy to give to ELPC through your DAF! Donate directly on our site from hundreds of DAF providers including Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, and more. It’s quick and easy and ensures your gift goes directly to us.

An IRA charitable rollover (Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD) lets individuals age 70½+ give up to $111,000 directly from their IRA to ELPC each year. From age 73, these gifts can count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
This is a great way to put your money directly to work protecting the environment while you pay no taxes on the transfer (even if you don’t itemize!)
