WHAT’S A PLACE YOU LOVE IN THE MIDWEST?

Starved Rock in Illinois is one of my favorite places in the Midwest. Seeing bald eagles and American white pelicans on the river, the canyon waterfalls in the spring, and enjoying the miles of trails make it one of my favorites! I also love exploring our great Midwestern cities.

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO DO THIS WORK?

I believe we have a duty to be stewards of our natural resources, including wildlife and wild spaces. In doing so, we respect the resilience and natural history of our surroundings while ensuring future generations have the same opportunities to engage with these amazing resources.
