Media Relations Specialist
Tom is a former journalist and a media relations expert with experience across agencies, companies and not-for-profit organizations in Connecticut, New York and Chicago, most recently PAWS Chicago and the Cook County Department of Public Health. He enjoys writing, fantasy sports, writing about fantasy sports, playing darts, and being outside as often as he can in Chicago, except maybe during the winter months. He lives in downtown Chicago with his wife Rachel.
Chicago’s magnificent lakefront is unmatched in any city in America and being along any part of it brings me comfort. But my favorite spot is the hidden gem that is the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Tucked in the northernmost part of Lincoln Park Zoo, it is a treasure that can make you forget that you are in one of the world’s major cities.
As a frequent visitor to so many of Chicago’s parks and green spaces, helping to protect and preserve them for future generations is important to me and a good use of my professional talents.
