While most of Iowa is leading the way on clean energy, Cedar Falls Utilities (CFU) is falling behind. Across the state, more than 60% of electricity now comes from renewable sources like wind and solar, but 99% of the power generation that CFU owns is fossil fuels.
Cedar Falls deserves better. We should be investing in clean, affordable energy that supports local jobs, protects public health, and ensures a sustainable future.
