Jill Geiger

Jill M. Geiger is the special projects director at ELPC, where she focuses on organizational management and communications, and oversees special projects. She returned to ELPC after a year-long sabbatical in Berlin, Germany. Prior to her move, she was ELPC’s director of marketing and communications, where she led overall organizational communications, marketing and development activities. Jill previously worked as communications director for the Massachusetts Housing Partnership Fund and in communications and project management roles for Center for National Policy, National Neighbors, and American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C.

WHAT’S A PLACE YOU LOVE IN THE MIDWEST?

Union Pier, Michigan, where we have enjoyed many summer visits with friends swimming in Lake Michigan and enjoying the beautiful beaches. But really I love all of the beaches along Lake Michigan, including our home beach in Evanston.

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO DO THIS WORK?

I have three amazing children who enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and getting dirty in our backyard. I want to do what I can to be sure they have safe drinking water, clean air, and a healthy climate so they can continue to explore this beautiful world for years to come.
