WHAT’S A PLACE YOU LOVE IN THE MIDWEST?

I love our beach house in southwest Michigan, just a few minutes from Lake Michigan: hiking in the dunes with my family and Great Pyrenees dogs, cycling on quiet roads, watching sunsets on the beach with a glass of wine, and buying fruits and vegetables at nearby farmers markets.

WHAT DRIVES YOU TO DO THIS WORK?

Climate change is the most dangerous threat today and I worry about a livable planet for my children if we don’t act boldly, swiftly. I was a longtime reporter, but felt compelled to join the advocacy side, put my skillset to better use. I love working with brilliant, passionate colleagues who share my values.
