Minnesota Clean Energy Supply Chain Report

ELPC identified 241 wind and solar companies in Minnesota's renewable energy supply chain. These clean energy companies can be found in 100 of the 134 State House districts, including manufacturers, developers, installers, contractors, professional services, and more.

In this report, published October 2020, the ELPC team provides background on the policy landscape in Minnesota, recommendations for further renewable growth, and a list of companies across the state in wind and solar energy businesses. There are accompanying maps and feature stories from companies doing this work every day.

“Our team is mostly outdoorsmen, which is common on Minnesota. We fish, we hunt, we’ve got kids, we understand the impact of energy on the environment. We know renewable energy is important for the future of the planet.” – Mark Brinkman, Sales Manager at Livewire Solar & Electrical in Blaine, MN

“Distributed renewables are key to the energy future of the Midwest. The economics are overwhelming… it’s jobs, the economy, and the environment with no fuel and no waste.” – Dan Juhl, founder of Juhl Energy in Chanhassen, MN
